Pinout from schematic sheet:

Power:

INPUT: 2.5-12 Volts DC on Vin Pins. Current draw based upon current usage of Module and connected circuitry. Module can be powered from the USB connection. The 5 volt supply from USB is supplied to the buck-boost converter's input at Vin.

5V Output: "5V" pins supply the output of the buck-boost converter set at a fixed 5 volts. The 5V output can supply up to 2.5 Amps of current. (Prototypes tested to 2 amps)

3.3V Output: "3.3V" pins supply the output of the fixed 3.3V switcher circuit which is supplied by the output of the buckboost converter. The 3.3V output can supply up to 2 Amps of current (Prototypes tested to 1.6 amps)

Both the 5V and 3.3V switcher ICs have protection circuitry for thermal, short-circuit, over-voltage, and under-voltage.

The enable pin of the buck-boost converter is brought out to the 50 mil headers which allows the module to be "shut-down" and cuts power draw to 2uA.

USB Programming:

The USB programming connection is made available through the Micro USB connector. This drives the FTDI FT230X USB-UART. The Propeller Tool's option for Propeller reset should be set to "DTR & RTS" under "Preferences:Operations". The FT230X uses RTS for reset since it does not offer DTR. This change does not affect functionality of the Propeller Tool for other boards with DTR. Standard FTDI drivers are used.
